Grief support services - You don’t have to carry this alone.
Grief after suicide can feel isolating, overwhelming, and impossible to explain. It comes in waves, sometimes expected, other times out of nowhere and every person’s journey through it is different. Whether you lost someone recently or many years ago, the pain is valid, and your experience matters.
At Hope4U, we’ve created a gentle, supportive space for anyone impacted by suicide, no matter your relationship to the person or where you are on your path. You don’t have to be a parent, sibling, or partner to join. You might be a friend, a co-worker, a neighbour, or someone still trying to make sense of it all. If you’ve been touched by suicide, you are welcome here.
Grief support services - What to expect
A safe, compassionate space to connect and heal
This grief support group is intentionally small and personal, allowing each person the space to share (or simply listen) in a non-judgmental and caring environment. Led by facilitators and supported by peers who truly understand, the group focuses on:
Open conversation: Speak freely about your grief, your questions, and your emotions, without fear of judgement.
Gentle guidance: Learn coping tools and insights from facilitators and lived-experience mentors.
Shared healing: Feel connected to others who have experienced similar loss, and find strength in community.
No pressure: You’re welcome to participate in whatever way feels comfortable. There’s no expectation to speak, your presence is enough.
Who this group is for
This group is open to anyone impacted by suicide loss. That includes:
Friends or colleagues of someone lost to suicide
Community members who have witnessed or supported others through loss
Extended family members
Those grieving after many years
People unsure how to process their feelings after a suicide
You don’t have to navigate this grief on your own. Whether you want to talk, listen, or simply be with others who understand, this is a space for healing, connection, and hope.
