The hope4u foundation was founded by Director Diane Russell. Starting with the first hope walk in the Hawkesbury. Because of her own lived experience of suicide after her son died from Suicide 2015. Diane then lost her second son to suicide in 2021. She continues her work promoting the prevention of suicide.

If you only carry one thing throughout your entire life, let it be hope. Let it be hope that better things are always ahead. Let it be hope that you can get through even the toughest of times. Let it be hope that you are stronger than any challenge that comes your way.
